In this seminar we will dive into topics ranging from material circularity in printed circuit boards, to the environmental impact of technology, and the potential recyclability of the PCB product itself which NCAB has tested along with customers. The topic sustainability with regards to the materials used in PCBs boards -- the key component in any medical electronic device -- are of growing concern especially in regards to material circularity. How can these be recycled or created more sustainably? Achieving circularity in PCB production, which involves reusing scrapped materials for new products, poses a challenge due to the heterogeneous nature of electronic components. How do these materials exist in recycled form? NCAB Group has been on the forefront in the industry in developing and testing recycled PCB materials to manufacture new PCBs, as well as designing and producing a PCB, so all material inside the board itself can be reused and/or recycled into nature.
